Every Child Matters Race! 5k/10k Walk/Run. This event raises money to help fund activity programs to benefit Elders and Seniors. All registration fees will be donated to the Algonquin Long Term Care Centre. Event will take place on 3rd Saturday in June at the Timiskaming First Nation Pow Wow Grounds.

This annual race and has been a great success in the community and we expect to have 150-200 participants. There are also many volunteers that make the race possible and ensure its an event to look forward to.

Furthermore, Every Child Matters is a movement that remembers and honours Residential School Survivors and the children who didn’t make it home. It’s a good time to share and hear stories and lift each other up in the grief of our loved ones.
